What is pfas?

Here is the one-liner story:

It’s a really bad chemical (very harmful to our health) that is in our water and Boyett’s family can remove the dangerous chemicals from your water affordably.  We exchange this unit on a regular schedule at no charge.  To remove this chemical from all your water is $50/month plus tax.   The standard installation fee can range between $300 – $2,000.  We are always happy to stop by and give you an estimate.  Sometimes we can utilize FaceTime

This is our current answer to protect you and your loved ones from this dangerous chemical.

This program will remove PFAS from your drinking water:

This program will remove PFAS from your entire home:

1.

As we are learning more about the absorption capacity of carbon media we will be updating our approach in our future blogs.

Here is some general information about PFAS:

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemical (PFAS) is man-made.  Many industries throughout the world have used this substance in their manufacturing.   Since 1940 this chemical has been utilized in our country.

This chemical does not break down and it builds up in your body.  It has been found that PFAS can make you ill (bad health results).

To stay away:

Food packages that contain PFAS.  Don’t eat food that has been processed with equipment exposed to this chemical.

Commercial household products:  stain – and water-repellent fabrics, nonstick products (e.g., Teflon), polishes, waxes, paints, cleaning products, and fire-fighting foams (this is a major source of groundwater contamination at airports and military bases where firefighting training occurs).

Workplace, production facilities, or industries (e.g., chrome plating, electronics manufacturing, or oil recovery) that use PFAS.

Drinking water, typically localized and associated with a specific facility (e.g., manufacturer, landfill, wastewater treatment plant, firefighter training facility).

Living organisms; include fish, animals, and humans, where PFAS have the ability to build up; stays for a long time.

What is the big deal about PFAS?

Because PFAS is found in so many consume products we utilize daily (cookware, pizza boxes, and stain repellants); most of us have been exposed to PFAS.  This chemical will stay in your body for a long time.  Based upon research results PFAS can lead to adverse health outcomes in humans.

Perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS) has been used as a replacement chemical for PFOS. PFBS has been identified in environmental media and consumer products, including surface water, wastewater, drinking water, dust, carpeting and carpet cleaners, and floor wax. EPA has developed RfDs for PFBS as part of EPA’s efforts to increase the amount of research and information that is publicly available on chemicals in the PFAS family.

How can I be exposed to PFAS?

Eating food (food can become contaminated soil, water that is used to grow the food).

We can be exposed to PFAS if it escapes the product (normal use) ‘biodegradation, or disposal of consumer products that contain PFAS’.   These products include PFAS:

Carpets

Leather

Apparel

Textiles

Paper

Packaging materials

Non-stick cookware

Contaminated air

Drinking water can expose your entire community (contaminated water supplies).

Here are some places PFAS has been found:

Places used for firefighting

Oil refinery

airfield

Our message to you is this:

We can protect your family from this dangerous chemical with these two methods:

A very bad water problem in Phx Metro AZ, but two simple answers:

This program will remove PFAS from your drinking water:

This program will remove PFAS from your entire home:

Both of these will do the trick.

We feel this water problem may be kept in hiding because the water in our communities is not being tested for PFAS thoroughly.

As a member of the Arizona Water Quality Association I speak for our industry:

The water treatment industry has a simple solution: carbon filtration will remove all PFAS from your water.

We have two simple answers to this concern (our dynamic duel carbon filter and water softener and our +Mg+pH+h2o+ro).  Very simple answers that are reasonably priced.  Another secret ingredient we have within our existing process is this: detailed electronic recordkeeping and follow-up.  As we learn more about the removal characteristics of carbon – we will continue to modify our approach so you achieve the safest and highest quality water.

Please call us for information on how you can be PFAS free in your environment and community.

Hello Mr. Yoshida,

When can we expect to see your Reon Pocket in Arizona?  The temperatures are soaring and I think this product will be a hit.  We ordered one and are disappointed that we cannot utilize this fabulous technology here.  Is there any way we can be a part of your pilot program here?

Reon Pocket is sure to be a hit everywhere – especially in Arizona.  May I please be your support here?  Please let me know how I can help to introduce the Reon Pocket to Arizona.

I’ve always really enjoyed your many products.  Congratulations on your fantastic success.

If you drink more Boyett’s +Mg + Ph  reverse osmosis water: lower risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and cancer

Based upon our information here drinking more water will give you these benefits:

Keeps your body hydrated

Lowers risk of heart disease

Lowers blood pressure

Lowers your risk for certain cancers.

Crucial for many reasons

If you drink enough water every day this is important for your all-around good health.

If we take action to drink water; this is the most simple and inexpensive part of a healthy life.

It is not a bad idea to measure the water you drink.  As we understand each person in Arizona should drink one gallon of water a day.

If it is not within your habits to drink much water throughout the day; we recommend you measure your water consumption.  We recommend you find a refillable container that you love.  Here is my refillable container that I love:

To fill the water into your vessel we suggest this approach:

This has been our most popular delicious tasting water.

When we first launched our +Mg+pH+h2o+ro; we took this picture to signify this great accomplishment:

This picture shows us around this special and uniquely designed RO unit.

Drinking a lot of water in Arizona is important for many reasons.

It is crucial to regulate body temperature

It is crucial to keep your joints lubricated

It is crucial to prevent infections

It is crucial to deliver nutrients to cells and keeping organs functioning properly

It is crucial for improved sleep quality, cognition, and to be in a good mood all the time.

If you drink enough water here are some benefits:

Fewer headaches

Lower risk of colorectal cancer

Lower risk of cancer of your urinary system

Lower risk of heart disease

Lower risk of urinary tract infections

Lower chance for kidney stones

Lower chance for constipation

Lower chance for high blood pressure

Lower chance for stroke

Lower chance of being overweight

Mild dehydration can drain your energy ad make you tired.

There are so many benefits and reasons for us to put together a program that makes you love to drink delicious and healthy water.

These are the steps we suggest:

Get a refillable container and fill it with delicious tasting water.  Take pride in your water vessel and nurture this approach.    The people in my life that are the most hydrated carry their refillable bottles with them and look to use these throughout the day.  These same people who love their refillable containers don’t go to a place without their bottles.

How many times does your container need to be filled to equal a gallon each day?

This is our goal = to drink one gallon of delicious water each day.

I dedicate this blog to my 85-year-old mother Roberta Jean Hayden Boyett.  She is the reason our company exists.  My mother is a founder of our company and is the CEO and President.  We like to make her proud with our good work.

This is one of my favorite pictures (I have it taped to my fiddle case as I open it):

I am fortunate to see these pictures often.

This to me represents a determined woman who wants the best for her family.  My mother taught me how to play that fiddle.  I enjoy this skill today because she was focused and dedicated.

We are sharing our music in this way:

I feel you will see in our water treatment work this same determined focus and dedication to your satisfaction in our products and service.

These two wonderful people are the reason I am fortunate to share this time and space with you today.  They are my heroes.

Thank you for tuning in
