Our famous Arizona Senator Carl Hayden – my shirttail relative was not only a great advocate for Arizona water rights and water quality he was a fine lawman.

Carl Hayden was a respectable law enforcer before he wrote the laws.

I hope that my family’s service to our country and state equals a small fraction of what Carl Hayden has provided in all areas.  I agree with the words of Barry Goldwater (he said of Carl Hayden; few have offered so much – fewer have delivered such an important infrastructure for us to enjoy our AZ water).

Along with having the proper quantity of water in our state; much effort has been made to effectively distribute this water.

The distribution of our Phoenix Arizona water began with a prehistoric group of Native Americans.  The canal system the Hohokam Indians constructed provided water service to more than 100,00 acres – mostly arid desert country (what we call southern Arizona ‘my home town’).   The water distribution infrastructure these great people built is one of the largest and most sophisticated irrigation networks ever created utilizing pre-industrial technology.

These water distribution channels were constructed over this period of time: AD 600 – AD 700 (several huge canal systems were developed).  The biggest of these channels was a trapezoidal area 13 feet wide X 12 feet deep.  Those fine Native Americans continued their efforts during AD 900 and AD 1100; and then between AD 1100 and AD 1450 is the classic period.  At about the end of this period they vanished.  When the Spanish explorers arrive (around the 1600 and 1700’s) they found the modern Pima Indians -near the Gila River – they were still irrigating their crops with this framework.

back to Senator Carl Hayden the lawman (and a man I am proud to call my shirttail relative).

On February 14, 1912 – this day in history is when President Taft made Arizona the 48th state – Maricopa County Sheriff Carl Hayden turned in his keys.  Along with his wife Nan, they were bound for Washington, D.C.

Sheriff Carl Hayden commented that being a great sheriff required more common sense than gunplay.   One of the cases that brought Sheriff Hayden much notoriety is when he apprehended the two train robbers in 1910.  This was one of the reasons the Arizona people trusted this great man.

Senator Carl Hayden brought safety to our wild west and he also has done a great job bringing us plenty of water.

This is where our efforts begin – treating this water and conserving this water.  As a third-generation Arizona native, I am very concerned about preserving our precious resource water.

Arizona is doing a great job conserving water.  We need to keep it up.

It is estimated that these two processes will save you over 16,000 gallons a year each.

Install a hot water recirculating pump:

Here is ours:

It makes hot water more convenient (saves time and water).

It makes the dishwasher work more efficiently.  Dishwashers are made to have water hot immediately.

A little history about our firm:

This is the image of our founder Roberta Hayden Boyett working in our office.  We are a female-owned company today.  She is second-generation Arizona native.  Roberta’s roots run deep in the Phoenix Arizona area.  It is her farming family that Hayden Road is named.  As an owner she is great: she has not only left a great legacy for us to follow (she continues to set a high standard for us to live and work).   Before starting our water treatment company, she earned a home economics degree at the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in teaching at Arizona State University (the place I earned my economics and accounting degree ‘I put them together to describe – finance degree’).

I have been fortunate to work under the leadership of Roberta Hayden Boyett for 32 years.  I have learned many great business principles about staying focused on our rental water treatment service in the Phoenix area.  We are also experts at providing our service to many other areas in the valley.  Here is a description of the services we provide and the area in which we provide these services:

We provide rental water softeners in Arizona;

rental water softeners in phx Arizona;

rental water softeners in phoenix metro area of Arizona; rental water softeners in San Tan Valley Arizona; rental water softeners in Queen Creek Arizona; rental water softeners in Gilbert Arizona.  When you google rental water softeners in Chandler Arizona we want to make sure that all of our areas are written so you will know that we also provide rental water softeners in queen creek Arizona;

rental reverse osmosis units in phoenix Arizona; rental reverse osmosis units in buckeye Arizona.  Since the service we provide is unusual we want to make sure you know – you can trust us to treat your water.

Senator Carl Hayden is my shirttail relative.  On two occasions Senator Carl Hayden claimed my mother (Roberta Jean Hayden Boyett) and her siblings as his nieces and nephews (there were 8).  I was told this story by two of the siblings: My Uncle Paul Hayden and My Aunt Cynthia Hayden LeRoy.  I’m claiming it.  My mother’s family is the Hayden family which Hayden Road is named.
